Brief introduction of pouring method in precision casting
Investment casting is a relatively advanced method in the foundry industry. Investment casting also includes investment casting, ceramic mold casting, metal mold casting, pressure casting and EPC, among which investment casting is relatively common. There are four common pouring methods of silica sol investment casting in investment casting, and I will introduce them to you today.
The silica sol precision casting in casting can effectively make its hydraulic metal better fill the mold cavity, copy the shape of the mold cavity, and continuously improve the casting accuracy to prevent the defects of air holes and insufficient pouring.
Investment casting crystallizes under pressure, and effectively places its mold shell in the pressure tank for casting when it is used. After the product is finished, the pressure tank will be immediately closed, and its high-pressure air or inert gas will be injected into the tank when it is used to solidify the casting under pressure, so as to increase the density of the casting.
If the investment casting adopts its hot mold gravity casting, it is also a form of casting that is widely used in the operation process. After the mold shell is taken out of the baking furnace, it is poured under high temperature.
The directional crystals of silica sol investment casting, such as the magnetic steel and turbine blades, are used in investment casting. If their crystalline structure is columnar crystals arranged in a certain direction, their working performance can be improved a lot. Therefore, the investment casting directional crystals technology is developing rapidly.
The rapid development of investment casting is inseparable from these pouring technologies. The pouring time and temperature determine the quality of the performance of investment casting and the generation of defects.
