The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other three departments jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High Quality Development of the Casting and Forging Industry (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"), clearly proposing that by 2025, the overall level of the casting and forging industry will be further improved, and the ability to ensure the safety and stability of the Supply chain security of the equipment manufacturing industry chain will be significantly enhanced. The industrial structure is becoming more reasonable, and the industrial layout and production factors are more coordinated.
The "Opinion" points out that breakthroughs have been made in high-end castings and forgings in key fields, and a group of core technologies with independent intellectual property rights have been mastered. Advanced process technologies such as integrated die-casting forming, dieless casting, sand 3D printing, ultra-high strength steel hot forming, precision cold warm hot forging, and lightweight high-strength alloy have been industrialized and applied. Build more than 10 industrial clusters with demonstration effects, and preliminarily form a good ecosystem for the coordinated development of large, small, and medium-sized enterprises, as well as upstream, midstream, and downstream industries in the industrial chain. The effect of intelligent transformation is prominent, creating more than 30 intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories. Cultivate more than 100 green factories, reduce particulate matter pollution emissions in the casting industry by more than 30% compared to 2020, achieve an annual recycling of over 8 million tons of casting waste sand, and reduce energy consumption per ton of forgings by 5% compared to 2020.
Casting and forging are indispensable process links in the equipment manufacturing industry, important support and basic guarantee for the innovative development of many host products and high-end equipment, and related to the safety and stability of the Supply chain security of the equipment manufacturing industry chain.
