1. The product has few internal pores and can be heat treated to T6, and its strength will be improved after heat treatment.
2. The internal density of the product is higher than that of ordinary products. It can be formed by liquid and will not be easily involved in gas, so the compactness of the product is higher than that of die-casting parts, and the strength and elongation will be higher after T6 heat treatment.
3. The surface roughness of the product is not high. When casting, the mold will be coated with a layer of powdery paint. After the product is demoulded, a sandy surface will be formed, and the surface roughness will reach a numerical range.
4. Slow mold filling and low production efficiency.
5. Under the same mold, the service life of processing will be longer than that of die-casting. For small batches, molds with low requirements can be selected. The cost of the total mold is much lower than that of die-casting. The larger the product, the lower the counterfeiting will be.
6. The gravity casting process can produce more complex products, but die casting cannot produce such products.
7. Not suitable for producing thin-walled parts.
