1. Use of oil substances
Whether it is diesel, kerosene or gasoline, it can clean and remove rust from precision castings. Many friends will wonder. If you put the oil on it, it will become more and more sticky. It will get a lot of dirty things. How can you clean it? This is because oil substances will dissolve many fine particles and even dust in the oil stains, and these deposits will condense on the oil surface. As long as you gently wipe it with professional paper or cloth, the whole precision casting will be much cleaner.
2. Use alkali substances
The sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide in the alkali substances are mixed with water to form an alkaline solution. If the solution is used to clean the precision casting parts, the waste chips generated by normal production activities will be removed. However, some impurities will react with alkalis in a way similar to burning and volatilize under the action of air. However, it is worth reminding you that the proportion of added alkaline substances in water must be adjusted properly. If there are more alkaline substances, it may cause small damage to the precision casting parts. However, it is small, because it is precision and requires higher requirements, and it may waste a part due to an unreasonable cleaning.
3. Use acid substances
The cleaning agent diluted by sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid can be used for precision casting parts, and the dilution ratio should preferably fluctuate around 6%. If there are too many acidic substances, the corrosivity will also become stronger and cause damage.
Whether acidic or alkaline substances are used, they should be judged according to the properties of the residual substances on the investment castings. If the residual impurities are slightly acidic, it would be a waste of effort to clean them up with acid substances.
