(2) Increase the space inside the hub. Generally speaking, when refitting, for example, the big six piston, due to the limited space inside the original hub, it may not be coordinated after installation. At this time, there are two options, one is to replace the hub with low ET value, and the other is to pad the flange.
(3) Change the elevation angle. Some cars can adjust the elevation directly, while others can't. At this time, you can pad a piece of gasket that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, but this is a low-cost modification method, and few people use it.
3. How to select gasket or flange
(1) The connection between the wheel hub and the axle mainly depends on their contact surfaces and the friction generated when the screws are pressed to ensure the correct connection between the wheel hub and the axle, so as to ensure the safety of the wheel hub and axle during vehicle driving. After adding shims, the friction surface will become two surfaces, which is bound to have a certain impact. Therefore, we must select products with good materials and workmanship accuracy to ensure safety.
(2) During installation, it must be observed that the gasket or flange can fully fit with the contact surface of the hub and axle, and the added gasket or flange can form an integral part with the hub and axle as far as possible.
